Affiliate Internet Marketing and Your Online Business

Ebookdaddy.info here, and today I want to give you some insight on what an affiliate program can do for your business. It’s really quite a simple strategy that when done right will increase the bottom line of any business.

If you own an online business that sells a product or promotes a particular service, then Affiliate Internet Marketing is probably one of the best Internet marketing tools for you. Affiliate Internet marketing is all about building a successful Internet Marketing strategy for promoting your business and earning money online.

With the Internet emerging as one of the biggest information sharing platform it is little wonder that most companies around the world want to use the Internet in order to market their products, and one such effective way is through an affiliate program.

One may define an Internet Marketing Affiliate Program as a system where a company offers you a certain amount of money for using your site to promote their product or service. Sites such as Google and Yahoo have benefited from the same techniques earning them lots of money. Whenever a visitor clicks on an affiliate link through your site you are paid, or you might be offered a fixed amount per sale generated through your site. This all depends on the affiliate programs structure.

Affiliate Marketing Programs have been widely recognized as one of the most effective Internet marketing Ploys that benefit both parties concerned.

But as in most businesses one must exercise caution in choosing the right kind of Internet Marketing Affiliate Program to promote their own products or services.

Here are some affiliate links that will give you an idea of how you may setup your own affiliate program or perhaps join to earn some additional income.

Most Affiliate Internet Marketing devices include banner ads, and online advertisements, email marketing plans. It is of course advisable that before you select a particular Affiliate Program as an Internet Marketing Tool, you do adequate research. Mostly the affiliate programs are free and some even offer a discount of 25%-35%. Your research needs to include information on which company is offering what kind of compensations and then choose one with a higher compensation.

Apart from the monetary dealings make sure that the company you associate with is worthy of your association. This has to be specially noted if you are a brand name and people associate you with a particular image. A good reputation of the company and references always help in making a good judgment.

Most Internet Marketing Affiliate Programs are open for anyone who wants to join. The company or associate provides the links, which also include a unique tracking code, for the members governing the program. The host company then places their links all over the internet with the help of different Internet Marketing Techniques.

While Internet marketing Affiliate Programs are designed so that your business is promoted you need to remember a couple of things. You have to keep look out for –

• The volume of targeted traffic that is being directed towards your site as a result of your affiliate program.

• The actual conversion rate into proper customer base.

Internet affiliate marketing is also much dependent on the type of content that your site generates and how useful it is for the visitors of your site, a good combination of both can result in successful business for you.

Internet Marketing and Ebooks

Ebookdaddy.info here, and today I’ll will be discussing internet marketing and ebooks.

Internet marketing is a necessity in today’s competitive world of the World Wide Web. Helping those who need such advice on Internet marketing is expert advice found in the form of Internet Marketing E-Books.

Internet Marketing E-books are used mainly by those who want to set up a business on the Internet or even Internet Marketing Consultants who provide their clients with tips on Internet marketing. Mostly penned by experts in this field with years of experience in this line, a good E-book can be a helpful guide to setting up your e-business.

There are of course plenty of Internet Marketing E-Books, doing the rounds. But before you choose one randomly give a little thought towards what you exactly seek. Also do not forget to check on the relevance of the expert speak.

Before you consult an Internet Marketing E-Book make sure that the author has used lucid language which makes it easy for the readers to understand what he is saying. If you are a novice in the line of Internet Marketing be sure to use Internet Marketing E-Books that have basic steps to guide you and use less of technical words and more of the layman’s language.

The highlights of most Internet Marketing E-Books are the hands on advice that the author gives you. Such advice or tips are usually based on personal experience that the authors have faced while experimenting with Internet Marketing. In fact the best part about using such Internet Marketing E-Books is that you can avoid the mistakes that others have made and be ably guided in each step of setting up your Internet Marketing ventures.

At times it so happens that any one Internet Marketing E-Book is not sufficient to guide you on all the techniques used for Internet Marketing. In such a case you might refer to several Internet Marketing E-Books, that way you will also get the opinions of different experts and you can corroborate what they have to say and take your final and definitive steps to Successful Internet Marketing.

Good Internet Marketing E-Books should base their guidance on the recent trends and market surveys. Some of the areas they should be advising you on should be:

Internet advertising

Good content creation

Email marketing

Proper usage of Keywords

Website development

Importance of Search Engine Optimization

Importance of Search Engine Positioning

Last but not the least using Internet Marketing E-Books can be a cost effective way of proper guidance for Internet Marketing. This is more so because hiring an Internet Marketing Firm can cost you much more than buying an Internet Marketing E-Book or browsing online for Internet Marketing E-Books material.

You would be well advised, in making a careful choice in selecting Internet Marketing E-Books of your choice. This is because there are plenty of books by authors who have no clue about the latest trends or have not done their research thoroughly before penning a book. Depending on such baseless Internet Marketing E-Books could land you in more trouble and lead your business in

To sum it all up, ebooks are a great way not only to gain knowledge on a specific topic but also a good way to make a nice income online writing your own informative ebook.

Traffic Exchanges - How I Got 2000 Hits In 24 Hours

Have you heard the news? Traffic Exchanges are crap. That was what I was told and believed until recently. What made me change my mind you may be asking yourself, Well hold on to your hat because what I’m about to reveal to you will change your mind about using Traffic Exchanges forever.

For the purpose of this article I’m going to assume that

A)You know what a Traffic Exchange is

B)You have used them before without much success

If you don’t know what a Traffic Exchange is then please read the information in the resource box at the bottom of this article. Now that we have got that out of the way, I can get right into the meaty stuff that you want to know more about. When I first started out in Affiliate Marketing, I was immediately drawn towards using Traffic Exchanges because of what they offered, which is…

1) A quick way to build your downline

2) Direct traffic to any web site you want,

3) Free to low advertising cost

As you can see just these 3 benefits alone makes it easy to understand why people like you and me would want to use them. When I look back, I actually didn’t do to badly on my first attempt of using Traffic Exchanges, but I did make basic mistakes which I want you to avoid. Sign up to any Traffic Exchange and one of the first things that they advise you to do is to join their recommended Traffic Exchange services.

You should do this, but don’t try to sign up to all of them in one go, just join a couple of them everyday. This was the first mistake that I made, trying to do to much to quickly. Another thing that I would advise you to do before you start joining traffic exchanges is to get a page rotator.

A page rotator is the secret to you getting thousands of hits to any web page that you want in a matter of days. I had used one before, but not in the way that I’m about to show you now. Let me explain my old method and new method to you step by step starting with the old.

1) got page rotator

2) joined traffic exchanges

3) put traffic exchanges affiliate links into page rotator

4) put rotator URL in all traffic exchanges that I joined

5) start surfing for page credits

Now lets look at the new method

1) got page rotator

2) joined traffic exchanges

3) put traffic exchanges affiliate links into page rotator

4) put rotator URL in all traffic exchanges that I joined

5) start surfing for page credits

Yeah I know both methods appear to be exactly the same, and they are but with slight changes. The first and most important change that I made was to track and test my results from all of the Traffic Exchanges that I joined. I cannot stress how important it is that you do this.Tracking and testing your results will enable you to weed out the poorly performing Traffic Exchanges.

You Can Get This For Free

I personally use Goggle Analytics for all of my tracking and testing which is a free tool provided by Google. I now know where all of my traffic is coming from, and from which country, city etc. Having this information at my finger tips makes it easy for me to know which Traffic Exchange is worth up-grading and buying traffic credits from.

The second change that I made was to stay up to date regarding all news concerning Traffic Exchanges, which is simple for you to do, just sign up to Traffic http://Hoopla.com and you will gain access providing that you upgrade to an in depth regularly up-dated report about the best Traffic Exchanges for you to join.

Another website that I recommend that you join is Affiliate http://Funnel.com. What’s really cool about this web site is that you can get information about all the best Traffic Exchanges from the point of view of people that use them on a regular basis.

Have you got your own web site?

Having your own web site is not really that important when using Traffic Exchanges, You will find that most of the people that use them simply promote free affiliate web pages.Personally speaking I prefer to have my own domain name and web site because I want to brand myself as the expert in my chosen subject and not someone else.

One thing that I’ve noticed is that web sites about traffic generation and list building or building your down lines, tend to get much better results than any other type of website. This is where I have made my third change, by making sure that my rotator is 70% weighted with traffic and down line building affiliate web sites. The other 30% is used to promote my own web site and favourite affiliate programs.

Conclusion

Using a rotator will definitely enable you to get much better results in the Traffic Exchanges,I have no doubt about this. But the rotator will not magically turn water into wine, or in your case turn pennies into pounds or 1000’s of dollars. You must test and track all of your result before seeing any significant improvement in your online earnings, this is not a difficult thing to do and I urge you to get started today.

Article Marketing For Beginners : Key Points to Cover

4 Key Points to Cover When Writing Your Article

Article writing should be part of any mix in the traffic building strategy of any internet marketing program. Articles have the benefit of driving traffic of qualified motivated visitors to your site if you offer quality information that offers a solution to their problem. This will have a direct bearing on how the search engines rank your site and your rank will determine the volume of visitors you will draw to see what your site has to offer.

Writing your article requires some research and careful attention to good, solid content. It also requires that you cover key points to ensure that your readers finds you and stays with you for the present and well into the future.

Quality Content

Your first and most important step is to commit to your reader and his/her underlying need or problem. The reader should be finding what they are looking for in the content of your article and should take away the satisfaction of a solution that will make his or her life easier. What you want to get on your end is not just customer satisfaction, but customer loyalty. You want that visitor to look to you as trusted resource to whom they can return anytime they need information or a product that will satisfy a need.

Write for your audience and write using content that has substance. Use a natural style that reflects your personality and natural approach to people. Be who you are and that will translate into a comfortable tone and style that makes you a non threatening and trusted source of information. Proper grammar, correct syntax and well structured sentences are a given. If the article calls for it include facts, figures, statistics, charts and any kind of visual imagery to prove your points. All of this will establish your authority and grow confidence in your internet marketing program.

Keywords and Keyword Phrases

Your article should be very clear as to the purpose and intent of your product, service or solution. Keywords and keyword phrases play an important role in showing you know what you are talking about and are offering a solution. Your reader will be typing those keywords and keyword phrases when they set about looking for the product or service to help them with a need they have. So your article should use these keywords and relate directly to the purpose of your Web site. Each page of your Web site has to be keyword or keyword phrase driven. That helps your reader find what they are looking for. Your article should point them there with keywords and keyword phrases linked to the page with the solution.

Keyword Density

Keyword density refers to the use of keywords and keyword phrases in the copy of your article. The presence of these keywords and keyword phrases allows for the search engines to find in your articles markers that will rank your article and put it in front of a Web visitor who is looking for that information. If someone is looking for copyrighting information and your article has the right density of that term in its title or paragraph content, chances are that reader will find you in the search results and click to read your content.

How often you use the keywords and keyword phrases is a matter of judgment. Over use of keywords or keyword phrases will look like a spam message and turn off your reader and the search engine. Too little use and you will not be found in the search process. A rule of thumb is 2-3 keywords per 500 words of content. Something in the title of the article, maybe two mentions in the body of the text. The main point is to use your keyword density wisely and you will reap the benefit of increased authority and trust.

Article Signature

Articles are obviously posted in blogs and newsletters but they are also submitted to article directories for more general distribution. This allows for you to get widespread recognition throughout the Web and increase your reach and potentially increase your traffic. It is a great way to establish affiliate marketing program and brand yourself as an expert.

One thing to bear in mind is that article distributors and directories are becoming more strict about writing original material and about self promotion. An increasing number will not allow any material you may have bought from an article reseller. Many do not allow any mention of affiliate marketing or affiliate links in the body of the content. So you will not be allowed to use anchor text to cross sell an affiliate product. You can still have keywords and keyword phrases but you simply cannot link to an affiliate site. This leads to the following point.

There is one area where directories still allow links to appear and that is in the signature or biography box where you present information about yourself. This is where you can put links, usually no more than two, to your affiliate product or service. Now again, some directories will not allow a raw affiliate link. They will allow a link to a site you own. So you can link to your own site or sites and simply forward to an affiliate site from there. That is why it is important you write a signature for your articles that will link to your solution based site. That is what sends you traffic and grow your internet marketing program.

These are four important elements to cover and understand as you design your article marketing plan for your affiliate marketing business. Master these and you will see results in the growth of traffic to your site and growth in profits in your bank account.

May Your Travels Be Prosperous.

How to Protect Affiliate Commissions From Unfair Affiliates and Customers Who Dont Want to Buy Via Affiliate Link

Affiliates work hard to promote a product or service, thinking that they will earn commission for that. But it is a soar fact that part of the money is actually lost by affiliates. One of the easiest way to lose an affiliate commission is to advertise plain affiliate links that have a product’s website embedded: the most simple example is the affiliate program with such link like:

http://www.products-page.com/aff.php?affiliate-name

Let’s say an affiliate promotes his/her affiliate links using an article marketing. Visitors will read the review of the article written by the affiliate and if they like the product they will try to directly buy the product from the product’s site instead of clicking the link provided by the affiliate. So, after all the hard work affiliates get nothing.

Some of the most common problems faced by the affiliates are affiliate link hijacking where another unfair affiliate could easily modify the affiliate code and buy the product via own affiliate link i.e., if a visitor decides to buy the product he will become an affiliate of that product and will purchase the product using his own affiliate link so that he can buy the product and can also get some discount in the form of commission.

Another major problem is affiliate link bypassing where visitor will delete the affiliate’s reference in the link and buy products directly, it is just because some people don’t wish to buy the product by being referred by someone.

This article will explain how you (affiliate) can protect your commission from unfair people and maximize your affiliate profits:

• Link Cloakers can solve some of these problems. It is a special script or software program that directs the user from the entered URL to your desired page.

For instance, if visitor clicks the link:

www.website.com/product

the web browser automatically redirects to:

www.website.com/product?id=affilate_name

So, your visitor will not know whether it is a direct link or affiliate link, hence you will be protected from the unfair affiliates.

• Use Html Unicode format. Instead of providing the affiliate link in the readable format you can encrypt the affiliate URL with Html Unicode like:

www.website.com/product?id=-mt

so your visitor can’t understand what it means, he will think that it is the code of the product. If you wish to make this even more effective you can encrypt the entire affiliate URL and place it in the anchor tag of the link and place some image or meaningfull text as the visible link. You can use the text like “

Click here to order” or use the Buy Now button but always try to keep your link search engine friendly like:

website.com/product-name-with-keyword

as much as possible because it can help you to easily gain more visitors. This way you are assured that the visitor can’t predict the URL of your original affiliate link and you can reap the full benefits of affiliating the products.

These techniques mentioned so far, can protect the affiliate commissions from the unfair affiliates successfully to great extent. Free Advertising On The Internet: How To Get The Best Results

On its head the internet appears to be the best easy way to advertise to billions of people but anyone who has dabbled in the internet advertising world knows that it is far from easy to master. The competition out there on the net is fierce to put it mildly. This article explores what you can do to level the playing field and get some good results from your advertising.

First I should warn you that there are sharks out there ready to take your money in promise of thousands of visitors that are hungry for your offers. When you see an offer that reads “10,000 hits to your site for just $20.00″ ask yourself this question: “if the traffic is so great why would they sell those valuable visitors to me? Why not just email those people and sell them their own goods or services?” The answer is that the visitors are either fake or non-responsive and therefore worthless. Avoid these offers especially the ones claiming to be a “email blaster” most of not all of these types of offers are outright scams. Are there legitimate emailing service companies out there? Sure but the real ones are very expensive and are indistinguishable from high priced scam sites so I still say avoid them.

There are numerous advertising sites that are free and you can get some exposure that way. I will direct you to a great list of these free ways at the end of this article but you should know that getting paying customers that way is slow.

So how can you actually do some advertising that will actually get you anywhere? To know which advertising method works, you usually only need to observe your own behavior. Chances are, you found this article you are reading by searching the Internet in Google or Yahoo or one of the other search engines. So you can assume that many other people will do just what you did. So logic tells you that you need your site listed in the search engines as well. And you would be right. Search traffic is up to one hundred times more responsive than any advertising service ever was or ever will be because the customer was searching for exactly what you were offering.

But how can you get listed in the search engines and get high enough placement to get good traffic? I will lead you to a site that explains all about how to do this at the end of this article but it suffices to say that it requires some learning. However, don’t be scared off by that because it is no harder to master than any other tricky thing you’ve ever mastered.

One of the cornerstones of my advice to new people who want to spread the word about anything is a site called Squidoo. There you can get a free web presence on the Internet and get listed in the search engines in just a few days and the site has lots of articles that can teach you most anything you ever need to know about advertising or anything else for that matter. It is totally free and is the best first step to getting massive traffic from the search engines.

Thank you for reading my article and feel free to visit my Squidoo site listed in my author bio below. Good luck!

Point of Purchase Marketing: Capturing Your Audience When it Counts

As the digital world grows and expands on a seemingly daily basis, many companies, large and small, are finding that it is becoming increasingly difficult to make a personal connection with clients. This is offset slightly by the fact that new, diverse marketing and advertising opportunities are presenting themselves in the form of new technologies and media at a frenzied rate.

Let’s rewind a bit. In its hay day, the powerful concept and practice of mass marketing was thought to take the personal element out of marketing. This, however, is simply is not the case. While the hypodermic needle was an excellent theory, it discounted the concept of human interaction, which took place at the point of purchase. Television viewers, radio listeners, and newspaper readers ingested mass media and, as a consequence, were heavily influenced in regard to purchasing decisions. This influence, however, was not, in my opinion, the ultimate influence. The ultimate influence occurred at the point of sale.

Consider this example. A housewife and son hear a Cheerios commercial during The Lone Ranger. The very next day, the housewife decides to pick up a box of Cheerios while at the store purchasing ingredients for dinner. Her grocer of 10 years however tells her that her son will likely enjoy Rice Krispies more than Cheerios because of the distinct sound Rice Krispies makes when milk is poured over top. As a result of the suggestion, the housewife puts the Cheerios back on the shelf and instead follows that advice of her trusted and long time grocer.

Fast forward to present day. With the introduction of big box stores, franchises, and extended hours, that point of sale connection and influence has all but disappeared. This may have been considered a good thing for mass marketers but the power of mass media has dwindled as well. Despite our best and most creative efforts, the power of mass media has yet to be duplicated. This means that, as marketers, we are missing out on the mass media, no brainer initial point of contact.

Fortunately, while the era of mass marketing has dissipated and we have been forced to look elsewhere for results, a gem of an opportunity has presented itself. Thanks to the Internet, digital media, and new technologies, we marketers have many alternate avenues to explore, test, and utilize to the fullest. And explore, test, and utilize we have, especially at that elusive point of sale period. Thanks to digital signage systems, electronic message boards, and most recently, narrowcasting, we have finally mastered the point of purchase.

Now we possess this power to capture a captive audience, right at the time of purchase. This is especially significant when considering that nearly two thirds of all purchasing decisions are based on impulse decisions. We marketers are a resourceful and adaptive bunch. We have dealt with the loss of mass marketing power by focusing, not only on new technologies and resources, but also by focusing on other points along the purchasing decision timeline.

Taking the Mass Out of Marketing: Embracing Micro Media Marketing

You do not have to be a key player in the marketing industry to know that it was shortly after World War II that mass marketing took full affect. With a seemingly singular audience, television, radio and print media were discovered to part of the successful equation employed by companies across North America. By the 1960’s, with only three major networks, a company could reach about 80% of an intended target market simply by advertising on two channels at the same time!

In the 1980’s however, much like the disco era just passed, mass media had begun a descent. The North American landscape was changing and marketing mediums were beginning to follow suit – in a half-hearted if-I-have-to sort of way. In fact, even as the North American landscape began to change, and significant drops in ratings and circulations began to occur, it was not until just recently that companies have seriously considered micromarketing a viable “put your advertising dollars here” option. In fact, in the early part of this decade, mass media profits continued to soar significantly despite the equally significant loss in audience share. Ouch.

Even now, as I write this article, mass media profits continue to rise, although in a limping kind of manner as opposed to the staggering growth of past decades. Even the most traditional companies have begun the process of pulling back the reins on traditional media. This does not, however, mean that companies are spending less on advertising. We all know that marketing dollars have to go somewhere. Subsequently micro media marketing is growing at a rapid pace.

Just as we know that the advertising industry is not going to dry up and disappear simply because mass advertising is not the slam dunk equation it once was, we also know that television, print, and radio media marketing are not going anywhere anytime soon. They have been key players for too long to simply disappear off the face of the planet. Besides, how are we supposed to know we are hungry at two in the morning if the Taco Bell commercial does not remind us?

Instead of television, print, and radio marketing disappearing altogether, these mediums simply have to adapt. In fact, they have already started to do just that. Newspapers and radio can now be found online and are accessible almost anywhere. This means that the advertising within online news and radio sites have the opportunity to be very dynamic and practical.

Television has also adapted, and not just by dabbling in the online world. Smart and innovative companies are very aware that television as a marketing tool is not, in itself, faulty. It simply does not have the capability to reach the masses as it once did. It still, however has the ability to connect and influence an intended target market. This is where concepts such as narrowcasting come in to play. Narrowcasting involves bringing the television to the customer in the store at the point of purchase.

As markets continue to segment and advertises are scrambling to keep up, one thing is certain. It is time to stop considering micro marketing as a tool to fight market segmentation and to instead jump in head first, embracing the marketing opportunities that are presenting themselves to forward thinking, dynamic companies.
